What Is NOOSE Ransomware?

NOOSE Ransomware is a harmful crypto-malware virus and dangerous computer infection that specifically aims to encrypt your file to earn ransom money. Once it encrypts all your files, it adds the .NOOSE file extension as its signature to the end of all your file names and leaves a ransom note called “OPEN_ME.txt” on your computer. For example, your file named “photo.png” will be changed to “photo.png..NOOSE”. Similarly, an Excel sheet named “table.xlsx” will be renamed or changed to “table.xlsx..NOOSE”, and so on.
